Hey I am creating this to ask if you all have had any problems with having these rear struts installed as I recently had them installed at a local tire and strut shop and had new tires mounted as well.
The strut is a bilstein b85100
    Model 24-321150

I received the truck back and drove home by the time I was home it was already rattling and making noise and I looked to find them mounted like this as you can see in the picture they were lose. So lose that the rod pushed through the washed and punctured my truck bed. I am now trying to figure who was at fault. The shop is claiming they were missing a washer from bilstein

If they didn't have what they needed they needed to get it.

I'd be disputing the charge & find a new shop.

Thanks. I went back to them and they fixed it and it looks mounted properly. I am now between the dispute of bilstein and the shop. I am going to dispute the charge with the shop I believe. They seem to be at fault. I am waiting for bilstein to reply also. But I think the shop was at fault and I think they installed them wrong as of now

Good luck with Bilstein, they have never stood up in several warranty requests over the decades I have had. (always defective shocks)
