Does this feature suppose to work under heavy overcast conditions in the daytime? I have played with the sensitivity adjustment in it's full range and it has no effect. If I put a dark cloth or bandana over the dashboard sensor then the lights come on. If Toyota didn't account this heavy overcast/rain condition in their software then that is pretty useless and disappointing.

The LED DRLs (on the OEM LED PRO lights) are bright enough in my opinion for other vehicles to see me in those conditions.

It’s very rare that I need actual headlights for my own vision in a heavy overcast or late afternoon and the auto feature doesn’t engage, but if I do…..

I just twist the stalk. :notsure:

Thank you for the reply. Should have mentioned 2015 SC Tundra limited no LED lights.

Gotcha. My wife’s 4runner has the same halogen auto headlights and the sensitivity isn’t great with those either. It’s a 2016

I never liked auto headlights anyway, so honestly I don't even know how well mine work. If I want them on, I turn them on. If I want them off, I turn them off.
