Platinum owners, are your seats perforated across the entire seat?

I got my 2022 Tundra Platinum back in May and I don't have many complaints, it's a very nice truck. One of the few complaints I do have is, is that the seats aren't perforated all the way so the ventilated seats don't get my lower back and butt.

Today, I was checking out Toyota's website for fun and noticed that all their promo pictures show the seats fully perforated. Is this another mess up from Toyota just like the auto dimming side mirrors? I have attached pictures of what my truck seats look like compared to Toyota's website. Are everyone's platinum seats the same way?

Mine are the same as well. Funny in the marketing photos that blue really stands out in the seats. I think in real life you have to look REALLY hard to see any blue…

I have a limited with heated and cooled. But I’ve seen all the platinums on our lot like yours I don’t understand not having the whole seat perforated. 1ADF723A-BA00-432B-8D56-284DB4DC9BD5.jpg

Mine look like yours as well. I will say, even with the poor hole design, this is my 5th vehicle with ventilated seats and by far the best! On some of them, I couldn't even tell it was on at times.

1794 owner and same thing. It’s way more airflow and way colder than my 14, 16 and 19 platinums had

I agree that it works well…where the holes are at anyway. It just doesn’t get my lower back or butt. It’s just a really poor seat design decision in my opinion and frustrating to see it doesn’t even match promo pictures. My Mazda CX-5 cost half of what this truck did and it’s ventilated seats actually cool over the entire seat.

My 16 platinum doesn’t work at all, they totally suck

I tested a 22 platinum and they were louder but worked great

Now that's a true statement!!! I would put it at borderline obnoxiously loud. It does work great, but I wish the volume of air matched the blower noise LOL!!!

it would suck your shorts off if that were the case , ha!

I’d take loud and working over what I have now, they are worthless in my truck

if i remember correctly, the lower trim seats have the look of holes but if you look closely, the area closer to the back of the seat doesnt actually have full holes to pass air.

My 22 platinum vented seats work great, but I agree and I wish the holes were throughout the entire bottom and back of the seat.
