Really dumb question..I have a 2015 Tundra. Stock exhaust trying to throw a Carven catback on and every thread/video I’ve seen says it’s 14mm flange bolts. Only size fitting my bolts are 11mm and it’s still wanting to strip them. Super rusted bolts and yes, I’ve tried heat/lubricant. Any suggestion?

Throw some on blaster on those suckers… maybe lock some vice grips on the bolt to get them started… if not grind em off maybe

I’ve tried that and it’s just wanting to round the head, thinking grinding them off is gonna be my best bet at this point

I have tried to save 60+ year old rusty nuts and bolts off of classic cars with very mixed results.

Those are 5-10 year old nuts and bolts and they are worthless. Just cut the heads off flush, grind any other interfering metal away and use new hardware to attach.

Any idea where to get the OEM bolts or should I just go with something as close to OEM because I’m gonna end up cutting them off

Any good hardware store should have an assortment of nuts and bolts. You might even be able to use some grade 8 SAE instead of metric. Once the old bolts are removed see if a 3/8" drill bit can be inserted in the holes.

Watch using stainless where strength is required. A standard metric 8.8 is stronger than stainless.

Remember that torque on a lubed bolt is considerably less than a dry one. I forgot the figures but then I forget a lot of things. Never forget my wifes birthday or anniversary. She reminds me.:boink:
