Yup…a few folks reported it on another thread and my dealer called me yesterday to set up the appointment

…actually pleased they got ahead of this one and didn’t wait on me to call them. They said they will need the truck for 4 hrs so we will see

I took my Tundra to the dealership and had the skid/parking brake recall performed last Friday morning. The tech and service agent both said that the recall was successfully completed. However, it did not show up in my app as completed and I showed them this. They indicated that their dealership isn’t “connected” to the Toyota server and they have to connect before this will show up in my app. This smells fishy to me as my previous recall (on the rear backup camera, at another, larger dealership) showed up instantly as completed on my app. Now we are end of day Monday and my app is still alerting me that I need the recall. I am going to contact the dealer again tomorrow but I fear that the techs have no idea what they’re doing. Any advice welcome! Thank you in advance; Taiko

Try taking the paperwork of the service being completed to the larger dealership and ensure the recall repair was uploaded to the Toyota server. May start with where you took it first, but that would be my next step.

I presume that's why I keep getting that error message about EPB incomplete or something like that. This sounds like one that can wait until I have the truck in for something else.

Thanks ohwendtrd! Problem is, large dealership where I bought my truck is far away! Now, I’m counting on my home dealership (much smaller market) to handle the recall. I’ll see if they can get their shit in order! Hopefully they didn’t apply the wrong recall! I’ll follow up w/updates

I called the dealership who processed my recall this morning. Not happy w/conversation. Toyota dealership here is under new ownership with a Chevy/RAM dealer as lead. Told me the warranty clerk is in the Chevy office (just down the street), it will therefore take a week for paperwork to be processed and Toyota app/server to be updated.

I asked why it was instantly updated in the larger (selling) Toyota dealership. Agent, then irritated, indicated that it was probably because their warranty clerk was in the same dealership, as opposed to being just down the street. Not impressed. App still showing recall not complete.
