Looking at this 2013 Tundra Crewmax with 109000 miles on it. Is there something i should be looking out for? In my 54 years I've never own a Toyota product and just checking to see if there is anything that i might expect down the road as far as reliability. Thank you 300037158_5815925065106973_3388743818209393215_n.jpg

The most important thing to check, especially if you are in the North where you have rode salt is the frame. After that, hopefully you can get all the service records.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Maintenance records would be helpful. Rust and proper maintenance are really the only two major concerns.

trust but verify imo. specifically i'd get under the truck and look for rust under the bed towards the corners especially the front corners by the cab. also signs of rust on the frame. do a google search on 'tundra cam tower leak'. weep/seep is generally ok and should be monitored but if you see signs of leaking, like drips, that could be an expensive repair. ask for all service records. if they do the work themselves, ask for service log. if they can't show you that's a sign to me it wasn't likely maintained and i move on. they are bullet proof for the most part except for owner negligence and road salt.

Yeah make sure the rusty is not an issue and make sure if you can verify the maintenance records and if they match up you'll love it.

The only thing you'll be kicking yourself on is, why did it take you so long to get into a Toyota. :frusty:
