Hope everyone is doing well. Looks like a great forum!

My Tundra is a 2005 with 328K miles. I bought new in Sept. of 2005 and the truck has been super dependable and served me well.

I'd consider buying something new but I am looking more at fixing up my current truck and keeping it even if I do decide to get something else. I'd like to do some minor body work and maybe an interior refresh among other things mechanically to keep it going for a while further.
I might go through withdrawals if I didn't have this thing in the driveway every morning.

Looking forward to discussions and I hope to contribute at some level.

    Thanks!

With current new and used pickup prices I would hold off until 2023 to buy anything. Dealers are adding more than $5K to MSRP and this has increased used prices as well. Any bugs with the 2022 should be ironed out by 2023 which is another reason to wait.

Another option is to buy a newish sedan and use that for trips where you do not need a pickup. I put as many miles as possible on the non-truck vehicle which has better fuel economy and the tires are cheaper to replace.
