Hi all. I installed a 3"/2" ReadyLift leveling kit. After having the front end realigned, everything seemed fine. However, I notice a slight shutter or vibration when taking off from a dead stop. Normal acceleration. I'm not a lead foot. I saw a couple of posts about the rear drive shaft angle possibly being the issue. Can anyone fill me in as to the correct factory angle and how to correct this? Big thanks in advance.

There are several places you can get a carrier bearing drop kit. That helped my shutter when i lifted my truck.

So the angle of the drive shaft should be even from the tranny to the rear end? I watched a couple of videos on youtube. Some guys installed 6" lift kits and put in spacers at the carrier bearing. It sounded like they just bought a kit and put them in without checking the angle. Since my lift was only 2" in the back, I assume I would need a thinner shim than if I had a 6" lift.

Tundras usually need a carrier bearing drop with any lift in the rear. I needed a small one for 1 inch lift. Easy fix and plenty of kits out there or you can make your own spacers out of something. I had some aluminum spacers I found in the garage, probably 3/4 inch or so, used the stock bolts and they fit perfect.
