    Yes,
It still rides crappy and still gets bad gas mileage but who cares. I got it at 90k miles 2012 tundra on November of 2020 and now it’s at 125k miles and it’s only august of 2022. Can’t complain much about the tundra.

love that my tundra has dual zone climate control for a basic truck which I believe is an SR(unsure) Love that there is no god awful chrome plaster everywhere.
    Love the super white paint.
Love the stereo system which is pretty decent for a truck of that age.
Love the side steps it came with which is a big help for the woman I’m seeing and me
Love that the crew cab is huge.
    Love the 5.7l engine.
Especially love the back glass that rolls down
All it’s missing is some things but I’ll get them added later.

    but almost a good 2 years :).
The only minor issue is stupid Ammco and the transmission slip issue which isn’t Toyotas fault but mine and mostly ammco

this truck actually came with more packages then I though which are handy.

I’m almost at 6 years with mine, and it still makes my heart skip a beat when I see if again. I can relate.

So I put in add-a-leafs in the back because I didn't like the factory flat leafs. Improved the ride greatly for a drop in the bucket.

I love the way mine rides. I don't understand people who say the Tundra rides badly. If you want a cushy ride, buy a car.

    I still love mine.

There are just a few things I wish it had like my Tacoma. Not that it's bad by any means, just some times I try to do one thing in one truck I can't in the other. I try to push to start the Tundra... nope, and try to key start the Tacoma sometimes... nope. Also the one touch blinker deal between the two. Nothing major, just have to get better at remembering. Or I won't and will it will be was it is.

Sounds like you need to dump the Tacoma and just drive the Tundra.

Fellas, fellas. 2, 4, 6 years? You're still only dating. I'm married to my 2008 Tundra! 14 years, 213k miles. It still runs, drives and looks better than most brand new trucks from other brands.

Nice post. Only issue is I did not realize the 2012 Tundra came with a much better stereo system then my 2019 cause its painful. No, seriously, it hurts.

    That’s for damn sure…

I know you know that I have said it before but the 2.0/2.5 have one of the best overall ride qualities in the entire Toyota lineup.

I feel the Toyota Bilstein relationship has been a good fit in regards to the TRD Off-road package. I did not like my Tacoma Sport and the Tundra sport I drove for 10 minutes.

EDIT: Toyota’s genetically have a stiff ride but the Tundra is pretty cushy IMHO

Bottom line, I love my truck and would repurchase one in a heartbeat.

Purchased my 2019 in Nov 2018, now has 33,000 miles. Driven to Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and all over California. It is a nice truck, drives fairly smooth, has the power we need and unmatched interior real estate.

Paid 42K at that time and given the cost and enjoyment, it’s been a good purchase. It does a lot well and my dislikes are minor. Glad to own a 2nd Gen.

Same same, my 08 new to me, procured used with only 18,600 now turned over 30k, not even breaking in and rides like new. Added JBA's UCA, Toytec 3" suspension lift with visions wheels and Falkens 295's, TRD sways and loving it every time we ride . Solid truck. Always getting flowers from on lookers of how nice it sits and how new it looks. She a keeper. Make us proud 20220316_125933.jpg

I got shit from a Ford fan on a travel trailer forum. A new guy asked which truck to buy to tow his travel trailer. He was sure a halfton would cut it and reliability was his only criteria. Apparently I was in the wrong for suggesting a 2007-2021 Tundra because "the ride is too uncomfortable for long trips".

On a side note I will say the F150 is slightly more comfortable due in part to the suspension. Definitely not night/day difference though.

BIG however, is the fact of how much the F150 sags. I was shocked when I saw it in person with a 3.5k trailer and load. I was torn between the two but the reality is that super soft Ford suspension comes at a big cost (sag/stability).

I was fortunate enough to see and experience the feel prior to purchasing the Tundra which made my decision real easy. At a minimum I didn’t and still don’t feel that the 2020 F150 was any better than my 2020 Tundra despite the dated design and poor reviews (cause it didn’t drive like a car).
