Soft top cover corners pointing up

So I realize I bought a cheaper brand of soft top tri-fold bed cover, but I’m a bit annoyed with the corners. I tried searching for this here, but couldn’t find anything on this topic. Does anyone else have a soft top cover whose corners point up? When I first put it on I though “oh they’ll lay down after some time in the summer sun/heat.” Nope. They’re still pointy. Anyone had this and come up with a way to get them to flatten out?
