Any shocks upgrade maybe, what kind ? I do tow a 6500lb trailer 5x/year and have installed aftermarket airbags in rear but otherwise just normal driving. The stock suspension vibrates and jiggles too much :) , others have reported the same . Thx!!

Call adventure motors in Kansas City, their kit with zero lift should be ultra plush

New Camry would fix it.. lol

in all seriousness, fully boxed frame and every second panel is aluminum. So, very stiff and getting lighter by the year.. custom rate coils with very low psi air bag when not towing is best you’ll ever get. Also it’ll you’re upping your tire pressure when towing, make sure drop them back when you unpin, will help keep ride quality. What are you running for tires?

SR, so you have the black shocks.
Those are the worst of the shocks offered in a Tundra. Squishy in turns but also jittery and oddly firm with road imperfections, don't really control the truck well.

The Off Road (blue/yellow) package shocks ride and handle better and I bet you will be able to find them for next to nothing once people start installing lifted coilovers on the 2022s. Sport package shocks (red/blue) are also better than what you have, but those dont ride quite as nice as the off road units.

Thx you all.., Yes , have the black one , and I lower tire pressure after towing , my shocks feel sporty for a truck in the turn , no complaints there , but I am curious about the blue/red one . I drove sr5 - felt identical, and the jiggle feeling is reported by other sr5 owners , so in reality sr and sr5 feel the same . Was looking at bilstein, but not sure what model ?? Thx. A lot

I agree, for the 70k truck, suspension sure could be better.
stupidly, I went for the variable height suspension, so not sure that I can even get any lift/upgrade without scrapping the system.

Coming from an offroad built 4runner that was going over speed bumps at 25-30mph without even noticing them, this truck took my by surprise..

The shocks for SR and SR5 are the same/similar, it's the TRD packages that get you the different shocks. Unless that SR5 you drove was an OR/Sport, then it should ride the same.

Where do you live? I have the stock shocks I’d sell in Boise, ID

Assuming by your title that you have an sr? That’s the problem. Try some weight in the bed, less psi in the tires, then new shocks.
