    I have a 2022 Tundra Limited CM. So, it has no locking tailgate or I'm I missing something? How simple would it have been to have tailgate lock with door locks.

    The tailgate is locked when the doors are locked.

    Try to drop your tailgate when the truck is locked without the fob in your pocket...it's locked. :)
