I understand this has been some issues in the past with the OEM controllers not recognizing the trailers. Pretty sure it is do to the vast type of trailers out there.

Regardless... I decided to bypass the OEM and go with the P3 controller since I have a trailer with LED's and hydraulic brakes. My OEM would never recognize the trailers, even though it is recognized by my older ford, my buddies Chevy, and my parents RAM... its not the trailer..

The issue is the wiring harness for the P3 that I ordered does not fit the 2020 harness... what am I missing?

    This is what I ordered...

This is the back of the 2020 controller... Is there a different plug that I am looking for? Thanks in advanced..

I think 2018 and up need to be hard wired, not plug and play. The harness works on the earlier 2nd gens up to 2017. But the P3 is a great controller.

Found a response to my question on E-trailer... You are correct, the 18 and up have a different connector. I am taking it in for service next week and debating if I want them to even look at it, or figure out how to wire up the P3.

    Appreciate the reply..
