I keep reading that the TRD PRO really needs "35's." TBH, I don't even know what you call the stock tire on the 22 TRD pro, but I know they are Falken 285/65/R18.

What benefits (other than cosmetic) would these larger tires provide, and can you point me to some of the best models and sizes if I were to decide to swap them?

Also, would I be able to use the same wheel? If not, I wouldn't consider it as I like those on it.

Discount tire or tire rack to shop, look at tire details. 35s will not work with stock wheels due to the offset, will hit UCA and other areas.

use this tool for metric tire sizes to understand their size. 285/65-18 are 32.6 tall, 11.2 wide

If you want a bigger tire, 285/75-18 is tall like a 35 but a bit narrower, much easier to fit on a tundra and works with stock wheels just fine.

Bigger tires provide more traction and clearance when off-road making it easier to clear obstacles. They could also give some added traction in snow, but that more depends on the tread. I'm not very familiar with the TRD PRO but I know the largest tire that fits on my stock regular TRD is the 295/75/18. They are a really good fit, I love the Yokohama Geolandars.
