    Greetings all!

Just bought a wrecked 2021 Toyota Tundra possibly a SR. Not sure a whole lot about it yet but I can't wait to get it up to standard and have it as a daily! Just sold my 2018 Toyota Tacoma I bought new. I am loving all the space this thing has.

Attached are pics in the current state. I will definitely be seeking help from you fine folks along the way. (Does anyone know driver door compatibility between the years?) Thanks and I look forward to learning with the rest of you!

Also, born and raised a Montana boy but just moved to North Texas! Does it ever cool down here?

Create an account on the Toyota owners web page. Input your VIN and it will give you your build specs. It does appear to be an SR based on the grey grill surround, black bumper, no fog lights, and no engine emblems on the doors. They don't come on the SR models.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. Looks like a relatively light hit, should be a dependable vehicle when finished. Congrats.

Almost forgot, I noticed your USMC logo, Siemper Fi.

Awesome! Besides the driver door and rear quarter panel/bumper is there any other damage?

    So far the list is:
    Driver door (located)
body damage inside the driver's door foot area
    rear bumper (coming in today)
I was able to bend down the rear driver corner panel (very thin metal back there) hoping the bumper will hide any of the ripples
    Curtain airbag (already replaced)
Driver seat (already have a used one with airbag intact)
Had some weird parts missing from the engine bay. The bottom airbox was missing, one of the vacuum purge valves was missing, and a hose to the brake booster was missing. I replaced all except the bottom airbox that is coming in later this week.
The tail light was in the bed of the truck when I bought it.
I just sent in the front seatbelts to get unstuck and recharged.

That's the list as it stands... so far... Ill update with progress.

awesome! you should keep a tab on how much your spending on the parts and see where you stand on buying new vs yours...

That looks like a really nice rear bumper, I may have too keep that in mind for a future upgrade.

My time in the Corps (1976 - 1979) was a couple years prior to you joining up with “Uncle Sams Misguided Children”
(That’s not a slam, just having a little fun with the initials) I was in the Army first (1973 - 1974) ... I’m a slow learner.

Damn nice boat. I just sold my 2018 Tacoma DCSB manual OR. I towed cars with it and it would get scary at times in Dallas traffic. I can't wait to see what a difference this makes!

I grew up in San Antonio. It’s hotter than hell for all but like two weeks total.

Its why I moved to Colorado. Life is better at 9,000+ ft. :burp:
