Well, went ahead and ordered some MT baja boss AT in 295/70/18 and 1.25" spydertrax spacers.

Good plan. I ran those tires on my old 2014 DC with 2” fox coilovers on the TRD off-road wheels and rubbed front sway bar at full lock. Just enough to polish it some but wasn’t a big problem for me. No UCA rub, but it was TIGHT. Could have probably held a #2 pencil in place.

That tire is awesome though. Good performance pavement rain and snow. Never been a deep mudder so can’t comment on that but I never worried about getting stuck on the “trails” I ran them on (going camping, fishing, mtb, snowboarding*). Best looking AT on the market. Wide and HEAVY though. Even if you’re coming from a different 295/70, I’m guessing the butt dyno will notice.

*looking to jump into split-boarding. Wanted to see if I (and my buddies) liked it enough before dropping several G-bars on dedicated gear. So we hillbillied it - snowshoe up, ride down. Pretty fun actually.

Well........ Bad news on the Mickies...
I noticed on my invoice it said 0 in stock, so I call discount direct this morning and he said I was looking at 3 weeks minimum to get these in. Ive got a 5.5 hour trip one way to OBX on Sept 3 and wanted the tires on by then since the Yoko's on my truck now are loud and not so hot in the rain, switched tires to the Falkens... I had them on my 2020 silverado, same size, but they were great on that truck, hoping theyll balance up on the tundra fine.
