I took my dash off for a heater core replacement. Now that I am putting things back I can’t seem to find where this gray connector goes to. It’s on the passenger side connected to the yellow knee airbag connector. I can’t seem to find anything near it that would fit.

From your photo it’s looks like it has a dead end cap on it. Meaning its for an extra feature your truck doesn’t have so it was capped at the factory.

Its cheaper for Toyota to build wiring harnesses with all the connectors and only use the ones needed for each trucks trim. Guess but it could be for the 4x4 ecu that is in that area. Is your truck 4x2 or 4x4

It’s the J74 junction connector for the CAN Bus. Since yours has a cap on it, it’s not need for your truck.

My extra wiring harness out of a 2015 has the exact same thing in the same spot with a cap on it. Wiring colors are a little different between the years but this is what it is.
