Good Morning. I have a 2020 Tundra Platinum 4X4 bone stock, non TRD. I have added front and rear sway bars and would like to keep them for the effect they have. I now have 85K miles on this truck and would like to stiffen up the shocks on the front and rear compared to the stock ones. This is primarily an asphalt pounder work truck for me, and spends a lot of time on the Interstate with ramps and such. I have changed the 20s to the BBS TRD Pro 18 inch wheels, and have Michelin Defenders on them. Purely looking for some more stiffness and less softness. Not looking to raise or level the suspension. Was thinking of installing the stock TRD Off Road shock set that came on this model year and leave the springs I have. Not sure if that will give me the effect I'm looking for?

    Thanks in advance.

I had added the off road shocks to my 2020 Platinum and I loved the ride. I wouldn’t necessarily say stiffer but definitely less bounce and a better ride. If you really want stiffer I’d say look for the red TRD sport shocks

Bilstein 5100’s are a bit stiffer than factory. Some shocks have adjustable dampening, could look into those too. Aside from that, stiffer springs is what you’d need. Those typically add lift though.

Bilstein 4600’s for anything work related and great for towing. These are stock height only (not sure if you want a lift,EDIT duh my reading comprehension clearly needs work). These will stiffen the ride considerably.

I have some 2018 trd sport take offs (bilstein "sport tuned") with 20k miles on them. About an hour from Orlando depending on where you are. I'm in lake county. If you'd be interested you can have them.

I appreciate the offer, if I'm going to swap these out, I'll put on new. Looks like the 4600's may be the ticket.

No problem, figured I would offer. They're just taking up space.
