I know there have been threads on different models but has anyone so experienced leaking on the hard cover come up with a solution to stop it from leaking near the cab?

Buy some thicker insulation for the front rail, fill in all the crevices up front and add a bit in back where the tailgate meets the side rails.

so that is what I thought would work. But it seems to be leaking from inside still near where the drain hose connector is underneath. The reservoir seems where seems to be plastic and if I load the cover up with water on top then crawl underneath and grab where the hose is it seems to move a little and the water leaks from all sides.
