Well, you’re kind of on an island out there :anonymous:

Yes, we use this place regularly. While loading all materials though, sometimes it’s easier to grab everything at one place. HD sucks, but it works. All tile and tile supplies normally come from here. But their hours suck too. Haha.

Well next time you’re there grab a bucket of AquaD and see what you think. Miles ahead of the red stuff and you don’t need to apply it nearly as thick.

Have the same issue with redgard. Used Wedi on the 3 jobs in the pics.. The second one contractor requested redgard also, kinda defeated the purpose of using Wedi.:notsure:

Have you been able to get Wedi easily?
We’re having a hell of a time finding any around here. From what I’ve heard they’re having trouble making it.

Noticed an ice build up in the fridge. I already pulled it out and vacuumed out the coil area, but I’m sure it’s behind here and I can’t get this piece off. Seems to be stuck here for some reason and if I force it I’ll snap it
U can see the small ice build in top left

Is that piece all the same piece with the light housing? Even after it’s thawed a bit it still doesn’t remove?

that is probably happening because it’s not sealed 100% right there, and that’s where super cold freezer air is coming into and leaking out there into the fridge Dept. Basically dew point temps hitting freezing air. Did you know when you adjust fridge temps, it’s just opening a baffle, when you turn the freezer dial, that’s actually the T stat setting: for the freezer.

Don’t you just pass the cost to the customer? I only doing 5 showers this year but only use the Schluter products now. Might get into Wedi if I’m feeling it.

Not quite correct. Slabs come as first grade, second grade and construction grade, that is the closest to the diamond rating systems that you get. Levels 1-7 are something stores use to convince customers that one slab is worth more than another.
Did I mention before that I install cabinets in multi million dollar homes?

No we don’t. Sounds easy to do, but every penny counts while my contractor bids. He keeps us crazy busy, we do about a bathroom per month, depending on if we get a kitchen. We just don’t have a lot of high end clients up where I live.

I think it’s one piece, and light housing is a second piece. I’ve only had it thawing for maybe 20 mins now. We keep the fridge at 38*.
I really don’t want to move the entire fridge items into the garage mini fridge, won’t fit lol. I guess I can put it back together and let it that out for a couple of hours?

Yeah, also check your door seals, if this is a new issue, maybe doors didn’t close or seal, and that’s where the excess moisture is being drawn from and accumulating

I think it’s just gotten worse over time. It’s def coming from that area though and running behind the plastic panel, and out.

This is true but most builders will put on their allowance specs the levels of slabs allotted in their budgets and so do most of the yards. So all though this is true as a builder most clients go based on the level 1-7. At least in my area they do.

Did I mention I build the multi million dollar projects from the ground up. Lol

Thank you Sean! To say I’m busy is an understatement! I’ve got eight different projects going at the moment. I’ve been blessed and grateful for all the amazing projects I get to do. Here’s just a few of my projects. I started my four luxury townhomes last week. I’m installing an elevator in each one and the finishes will be very nice.
