While parking today, after backing into my carport, I lazily put it into park from reverse not paying attention. Well the delay in-between R and P cause the truck to freak out. My foot was already on the brakes but the truck had a hard clunk , barked the tires, then locked down. So I'd advise not to lolly gag the shifter between. P and R, it didn't feel good.

Don’t lie. You were at full boost showing the neighborhood the brute power of the new Tundra.

If I had to guess the truck was actually still moving.

Nope. I was stopped for a good couple seconds via my foot on the brake. It's like when the Park locked down, it prematurely let off the foot brake. For a split second, then locked down like a standard automatic would if you were rolling and the park pin found it's hole.
