I recently ordered the Firestone Ride Right 2445 air bags and sway bar for my Tundra SR5 TRD. Will the air bags interfere with the sway bar? I've read there is a possibility that could happen.
Hope someone has done this install and could shed light.
    Regards Norm

If it's a rear swaybar you are getting, I've run this on one truck before.
    It was a 06 Ram 3500. I towed a 5th wheel RV around then.
I had the airbags and added a Helwig bar.

The bags were great. smoothed the ride s well as helpped with sway and leveling.
When I added the swaybar, it road like a rock. It seemed there was no level ground to help the ride.
    I sold the swaybar.

WVI, thanks for your input. Upon further searching the internet the TRD pro sway bar web page does not list this compatible with the double cab that I have. Now I'm even more concerned b/c youtubers show installations on 2012 Tundra but not mention if it's crew cab or double cab. Hum!

    Pretty things
Don't see why there would be a difference between DC and CM. They use the same positioning of the rear axle on the frame.

Could maybe see a difference with the long bed, but even then, I doubt there would be any issue installing the swaybar.

    Maybe someone can correct me??

Not sure how different the 12 vs 14 is but I have the TRD rear sway bar on my 14 SR5 DC. I had air bags installed already and did not have any issues installing the sway bar, and have not had issues since - about 10k miles. Hope this helps

Update: I now have the TRD rear sway bar, Bilstein 4600 rear shocks and firestone ride rite #2445. The stabilization is wonderful as for the Firestone air bags the local company that installed them did not do a pressure test. Now I have to go back this Monday to have them find the leak. At 365 dollar installation cost you would have thought they would do a pressure test before giving it back to me. What a bummer.

Bummer. I've had a similar setup on my truck for 4 or 5 years with zero issues and zero leaks from the airbags. I love it. As you found out, the airbags don't interfere with the sway bar. Can you hear the leak? or is gradually losing air, say, overnight? If they didn't cut the air hose pretty square or if they used scissors to cut it, then it can leak at the fitting. I used a new razor blade without the knife/box cutter. I put just enough pressure on the line to cut without squishing or deforming it, while sawing back and forth. A real plastic tubing cutter is best but, like I said, I had zero issues with they way I cut them. Could also be as simple and pushing the lines a little further in to the push connect fittings. I was little hesitant about the fittings at first, but they've proven to work well in my case.

Thanks, Blenton I can't seem to locate the air leak, I used my Dewalt power station air compressor and filled to 35psi and with 15 minute there was 0psi. When I had the installation done the mechanic spiced both air hoses to a single air station. Maybe I should have requested two stations at that would've help with isolating the problem. At age 69 I'm not so limber as before.

Oh no what a pain! Sorry to hear that but should be a simple fix. Some soapy water on all the fittings, fill it up, see what bubbles!

Update: Took my Tundra back to custom truck shop on Monday 8th Aug for air leakage at air bags, while it was there, I had the truck shop route separate air lines to rear of my truck (for isolation purposes only) They informed me that the leaks were found and fixed by the time I arrive home and tested the air pressure......yea...you guessed it 0psi. So......after thinking about the mysterious air leaks I came to the conclusion that either the air bags (both) were defective (unlikely) or the problems was the swivel air fittings. Took the tundra back to custom truck shop on the 9th of Aug. and requested that they replace swivel air fittings and that I would only cover the cost for material. We agreed and an hour latter my Firestone Air Bags #2445 is hold air as required. I contacted Firestone (via text) and explained my dilemma and received the following.
"Sorry that you are not happy with Firestone. You should know that Amazon is not an authorized distributor of Firestone products, and no warranty can be applied. Amazon allows third party sellers to sell parts just like eBay and we have missing, defective, broken and used parts sold on Amazon". needless to say, I was surprised.
    "All's well that ends well"
Sorry the update was so long. Thanks to all

Glad you got it sorted out. A couple of new fittings is a lot cheaper than a couple hours of shop labor or new bags. Glad that was a simple fix. Bummer to hear Firestone played the Amazon seller game. I mean, from one side I understand as I’ve been sold junk gear as new, but on the other side, it’s just a couple of fittings. But you got it resolved. And my Firestone setup has been quality well worth the money.
