I recently reached out to Bay Area Metal Fabrication (https://www.bayareametalfab.com/) in regards to a possible design for 3rd Gen Tundra Sliders. They make awesome sliders as well as other accessories for Tacomas and 4Runners. I actually received a response from Jerry Lee the President and CEO. He wrote:

    “Hi Ryan

I haven't even seen one up close to judge what needs to be done. The Tundra has never been a big seller in the offroad market so it's not a high priority for us to rush to market. You are the second email we have received for the new Tundra sense it was announced.”

Maybe those of us who are interested in a set for our 3rd Gens could reach out him as well and show how much there really is an interest for our vehicles, he could possibly bring out a design sooner than later. I’m sure the community @Tundras.com could make it happen.

Unlikely BAMF will ever build tundra sliders, there is a thread somewhere here trying to get 10 or 15 people to commit to putting deposits down for 2nd gen sliders (2007-2021 tundras). The thread was open for over a year and never got the needed numbers. Then a few years ago BAMF bought all the Pelfrey Built inventory when they went bankrupt and BAMF struggled to sell off the coupe sets of tundra sliders.
Best to look elsewhere for sliders

I didn’t realize this was already a something that was tried. I guess I’ll have to wait for the Wescott build.

yeah BAMF never been much on Tundra support.

WKOR, SDHQ, CBI and C4 are your best bet.

Keep an eye on Victory 4X4 too. They're always on my list to cross shop armor products as they've had solid support for the 2nd & 2.5 Gen Tundras (plus all other Toyotas).

    https://www.victory4x4.com/category/TUNDRA.html

I've heard positive experiences about them.

Side note: CBI & C4 are already shipping their 3rd Gen sliders, as I understand it. CBI is running 6 weeks for sliders and C4 is running 14 weeks.

These clowns use to be on here and no longer part of this group. Do your research before giving them your money. They screwed a lot of people over

I'm sure several people will pay good money to be a beta tester for another V4x4 product... At least there are no air bags to drill into with sliders.

That's a bummer to hear. One of the shop supervisors at a local place has a 2.5 Gen decked out with a bunch of Victory products. His rig is pretty sick. It all seemed pretty solid to me, but if they've burned a bunch forum members...then probably shy away from them.

I would now be concerned about any roof rack for a Tundra since they all seem to mount the same. Prinsu, Victory, Sherpa...all mount the same way: Drill through the roof and be careful to not let your bit plunge too deep. I actually looked at the install instructions for all 3 just now because I might consider a roof rack one day.

That being said, the OP was looking at rock sliders so I guess it's worth pivoting back to the main discussion before we get too far on a tangent. :)
