Yeah the evaporator was leaking out all the Freon within 24 hours
    had a huge leak

the 100 degree heat in Florida motivated me enough to pull dash out and replace it

made the mistake of not taking pics of the connectors when putting the dashboard board back and left 3 connectors unplugged ( 1 unplugged & 2 plugged in wrong location ) and it take me 2 weeks searching up and down truck looking through wiring diagrams to find it and now just yesterday finally finished up that huge mess and have cold ac again

    Yeah
It isn’t actually blowing at 9 degree Fahrenheit regularly

it’s ranging from 40-50’s degree Fahrenheit 99% of time

I think that was like some weird angle I pointed the laser at holding it for longer than normal just trying to see lowest reading can get and got as low as 8-9 degree on laser but yeah it’s not anywhere near that low regularly

around 40-50’s like you said so it seems to be in good shape

and no the old was wasn’t really corroded but the leak seemed to be coming from it’s plastic sidewalls
    Here’s pic of old one

It was probably the original and truck is at 243k
