So, I have to replace the transfer case in my 08 SR5 and I'm shopping around... Found one I think will work and asked them about a guarantee on it. They asked me to find the ID number on my transfer case and gave me a list of compatible ones. Question is... Where the heck is the ID number on that thing??

Why don't you ask them where this info is located. I am sure they will know.

Did you try the Toyota user website. They usually have the specifications of parts/options installed on the truck.

Go in there get an account put in your vin number and see the specs.
