You should add anchovies. You know, to kinda keep in line with the sushi theme.

 

And I would personally swap Geek and Nerd.

 

I meant when you got 10% off, you went and added more beer because you saved dollars.

 

Pineapple and anchovies might actually be a solid combo. Salty and sweet.

 

I sit squarely in nerd territory on that Venn diagram - I do not identify as a geek.

 

Ah, and I'm in the same spot, though I prefer geek. Then again, sometimes I do stupid stuff, so I might just be a dork.

 

It is a toss up sometimes between geek and nerd - truth is I tend to morph between all of them depending on the topic and the crowd

 

Yup. The real kicker is that it applies to everyone. Always makes me laugh when somebody dogs on a different kind of nerd while not seeing their own nerdiness. Jocks/sports junkies are a prime example. Total nerds. Just sports nerds. Gear heads? Car nerds. Everybody is a nerd, just for different stuff.

Yeah, we are an ISP, so we kinda have to have access. It's nice on the slow times, but I know there are some that abuse it.

Visiting our medical clinic to get some boosters. Lobby has two instructions:

1) Wait behind the yellow line until admitted.
2) Ring bell for service.

The bell is behind a “Covid” shield 7+ feet beyond the yellow line. Think this is how the non-engineers get back at the engineers. I know a few guys that would blow a fuse trying to square that circle.

 

If there's nobody there to serve you, go up and ring the bell then go back behind the line before someone gets there.

This is why we can't stand non engineers; do your own thinking once in a while.

 

LOL! Totally. I’m a unique engineer in that I can color outside the lines. And I don’t eat the crayons.

Plus I’m an asshole, so I’ll generally mess with people when presented with stupid rules like that.

In this case, since I was on the clock I just slammed my fist into the bell and then darted back behind the line.

 

I like to think of it as using it like intended.

 

Also you and me both need some new skid plates so you don't have to take them off every time we change the oil.
