Hey everyone, I just replaced my headunit with a Pioneer DMH 2660NEX headunit. Everything works great with Carplay except when I hit the MODE button on the steering wheel, the screen remains on the carplay screen. Its really weird.. I cna hit MODE and it will take me to FM, Bluetooth , etc.. the screen just doesn't change. To get out of this I just unplug the iphone and I can see the 'regular" screen. Just to add I do have the maestro RR for the steering wheel.

I have the DMH 2600 NEX, which i think is th esame unit less the HD radio.

Mine does the same thing but I think you will find it's not limited to CarPlay. If you have the tire pressure screen up and press mode the exact same behavior is exhibited.

Might be that it can be changed by a different setting in the RR programming. I did everything as the dfault settings.

I talked to idatalink and they said that’s by design just so you can use the maps feature if needed. I also have to claim dumbassedness. Since the screen sits more recessed in the dash, I couldn’t see the buttons to change to radio or to bring up the menu (on the far left hand side). On a different note, what metrics are you able to see from the car information part?? Seems like I’m missing some but it may be there and I just don’t know it

On the screen that shows tire pressures I acn also see all the door ajar indicators. Now for some reason I also can see that the hood is ajar. Can't see that on the one between the tach and speedo.

Now the gauges that's kind of hard to figure out. From what I can tell, there are two pages. But getting the gauges you want where you want can be a bit of a challenge. I wanted trans temp, but couldn't find it. But then cahnged to the second page and then I had it. Went back to page 1 and now I can set it to center gauge to trans. There seems to be something that says you have to remove a gauge before you can call it up in another position. And even then you may not be able to selct it for the position you want.
