Add some heat (don't go too hot or anything) and they should peel up. Any adhesive that is left should be removable with some goo gone. Then clean the surface of the goo gone residue and add some local surface polish since you will have removed it during the cleaning.

Don't blame you for removing them. The stamped steel looks quite good by itself.

Sweet thanks. I’m in San Diego . It’s been super hot, so maybe I’ll wait let it sit in the sun for a bit and give it a go.

That should work. When I pulled my decals I didn't add heat either. Left it in the Texas sun for a bit, then pulled into the shade when I was ready to work.

How long were your son before you pulled them? I’m just worried about discoloration underneath.

Um... I think I had my decals on for a little over 2 years (truck was outside the whole time) and I could not tell a difference in the paint color.

These came off insanely easy lol. Took less than 10 minutes, zero residue left behind.
