Haven't been able to find any info on this. Apologies if it's in the forum somewhere. Has anyone run the bilstein 5100's with eibach coils up front? Wheelers offroad & eibach claim its possible.

Im sure its possible.... what are you asking??? If you don't have aftermarket upper CA's then I wouldn't mess with a longer/stiffer spring. You are just gonna destroy tires. I have the 5100's on all four corners, I have had my truck aligned 4 times and been in to try and figure out why my tires cup but no one has figured it out yet. personally I feel like springs wouldn't help my situation but they may help yours.

I already have the 5100's with stock springs on middle setting. But am looking for a little more lift.

Curious if the eibach springs on 5100's set at bottom setting would ride better or worse than stock springs set at top setting on 5100's.

Both configurations yield about 2 - 2.5in lift

Find spring rates and relaxed length of each and crunch some numbers.

IMO your going to run into more issues with your suspension running the different coils,

But I agree with @Jengel451 , find specs and run #s.

5100s off the bat require bump stop spacers due to collapsed coil height (block height). This is where i think you'll run into issues with eibach coils on the 5100 shocks.

In my opinion I would stick with Eibach shocks and springs, they are both designed specifically for each other to yield the proper amount of lift (2'' on bottom clip, 3'' on middle clip) without compromising ride quality...

Here is a link to our page with the coilovers, Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I did exactly what you're describing but on my previous vehicle which was a Tacoma.
Basically, I wanted a hair more lift and wasn't willing to deal with the increase in stiffness from the pre-loading the 5100's to the top position. I bought new Eibach coils, dropped the 5100's back to the bottom and used higher spring rate along with a very small spacer to correct lean and lift the truck as opposed to pre-loading a softer spring and it accomplished exactly what I was after, a softer ride that still gave me 3" of lift.
it probably pays to mention the Eibach springs I purchased were from toytech and were a 600lb spring which was perfect for a tacoma and would likely be too light for a Tundra. I'm confident the exact same could be accomplished on a Tundra but with a more suitable spring to handle the added weight.

Awesome! I recall hearing about doing this with 1st gen tacomas. Seems like it's doable on the tundra if spring rate and length are in the correct range.

Frankly the 5100 is a garbage shock and undersized for our heavy trucks. If you're going to trouble to upgrade springs you should consider the 6112s with either the 600lb or 700lb spring rate. You'll get a much better ride and the leveling collar is better built to withstand the weight of our trucks.

I assume you're referring just to 5100's on the fronts which I wouldn't say are outright garbage in comparison to stock shocks considering my platinum had generic black non-trd's from factory. you definitely do get what you pay for up front though and for what I wanted to accomplish 6112's were a better fit.
as for rear shocks 5100's suit me fine as the digressive valving is an improvement for the road conditions I drive and the reservoir on 5160's were overkill.

My 2015 CM Limited 2WD, I had 5100 on middle setting using OEM springs up front and 5100 rears and they worked great. Definitely better rode in my opinion and leveled the truck.

For my 2021 CM TRD Sport 2WD, I just picked up a set of 5100 with the Eibach springs and rear 5160's
Eibach replied on the spring rate:
    Part number 318206703FA
    They are 645 lbs/in
I think the sport springs are softer than the Limited as the truck seems to wonder all over the road and the lightest wind blows it around. My 15 was a much better driving truck. I am hoping the shocks correct this altho they are lifting it alot more than I originally wanted.
