Waiting for my Tundra

Has anyone heard of VPC related hold? Dealer says that Toyota stacked a bunch of trucks in front of mine after mine was built while working on computer system in Houston. “Now they have to ship those trucks before mine.” Seems wild to me! My receiving date got pushed back about 15 days!

 

I haven’t heard if this specifically. But I wouldn’t be surprised if mine is the same situation. Built 4/29 and has YET to leave the factory. Must be the very back row and never able to get out…

 

That’s scary for me. Mine was built 6/16. I will let you know when I get mine. It is supposed to be here before 7/30

 

my build date was 6/26, truck got off the rail and at port 6/30. Went on QC hold and still no update. What's scary to me is that my lease is up end of this month on my daily driver. I'm really cutting it close

Truck built 6/11 shipped 6/29 arrived at rail yard 7/5.
I had to sell my 2017 last night so driving a loaner with a handful of cash waiting for my Tundra

 

I pick up my Tundra tomorrow! Built on 6/16/22 and delivered to dealership on 7/26/22. I bought it in Little Rick, AR. Hope you all get yours soon

 

Mine was built 6/20. Still sitting at the factory and no longer on QC hold. It’s a real bummer as this is going to be my work truck and I’ve been using my CRV to move tools and equipment around…

 

I hear you. Mine has been sitting at the factory since 4/29. Hopefully your truck will get moving soon. That sounds like a pain in the behind using a CRV when you need a truck…

Im grateful I work from home so I don’t necessarily “need” a vehicle. But my wife is tired of me taking her Pilot whenever I want or need to go anywhere. And Uber is getting old… haha I want to drive myself to the airport when I travel for work…
