Hoping for some feedback on these before I pull the trigger. Wanting to go the 17" route. But want to make sure I am not going to have UCA clearance issues. Looking at the Method 316 (17x8 - 5x150 - 25/5.44"). I know the majority are somewhere in this ballpark on the offset/backspacing. Any issues with clearing aftermarket UCA's? I am going to be running JBA and they are a little more low profile on that leading edge closet to the wheel and not so tubular like some of the competitors. There is no disclosure or warnings on JBA's website regarding wheel size, offset or fitment issues. So I think I am okay. Just wanting to know if anyone has first hand knowledge of running 34-35" tires and 17's with a 25 offset.

Last time I checked, these only came in 0 offset, but I see they offer +25 now. 17x8.5 +25 will fit 35s with minimal work. Check out any of the Icon wheel threads, they are the same spec.

Thanks. I saw the icon threads and SDHQ has some great info about the Icons working well all around with the tundra and their brake calipers etc. Unfortunately I just didnt like their wheel offerings. At this price and weight per wheel on these 313's its hard to beat.

Agreed. I recall that another member weighed their 17" 316s and it actually weighed 26 lbs vs the 24 lbs listed. But either way, it's a great looking wheel in an offset that will make 35+ tires fit easily.

Actually, just noticed that the wheels are offered in a 17x8 and not 17x8.5. That means they will sit about 6 mm inward compared to a 17x8.5 with the same offset.

Thanks, Ill take a look again. I believe they offer a 35mm offset version as well, maybe not in this wheel. Everywhere is out of stock anyway so its not a critical decision right now. Maybe ill get luck any some SRS Ray10's will magically appear.

Is anyone running Methods 17x8.5 with +35 offset and 35x12.5 tires? I'm ok trimming the skid plate & front bumper if necessary, but mostly concerned about clearing the UCA and brake caliper.

Pics of UCA clearance would be appreciated

Your setup looks really good! What size wheel & offset are you running?

Looks amazing! Love the wheels and black combo. Would not have looked as good if you ran black wheels. Kudos for something different.

Thanks a ton. I was originally on the fence between bronze and gold, but I’m happy with how it turned out.
