12/2021 Build date. Just rolled over 6K. Three weeks ago, noticed metal to metal clank 1st start in the morning when shifting from Park to Reverse. Over the last three weeks, getting progressively louder. I have a TRD Skid and Aftermarket Cat Plate on the truck. Tonight, I put it up on Jack stands (all corners) and crawled around tapping with Rubber Mallet without replicating noise. Took both front wheels off and tapped around the suspension. Only place I had any similar noise was when I hit the Front Shroud and it hit the disk. I checked clearance on the shroud and all clear. Spinning the axles by hand indicated slightly more play with Right Side axle. Rotors, calipers and disk look good. When driving, truck tracks straight with steering wheel centered.

Transmission appears to shift correctly without issue. Now at this point, being sensitive to situation, did notice several almost stop (slight roll) the trans did have rough transition to lower gear with it shuddering.

It will be going back to the dealer. Tomorrow morning, I am going to record it for a record to show them.

    Any thoughts on this?

I had a bad solenoid in the transmission, have a thread on it here. Seems to be better after replacing.
