I vote no flares. With that said, I do appreciate a more subtle and contour looking flare w/o the bolt heads.

I vote no flares until you see how much side splash you get, then if you hate it, put em back on!

I have had zero splash after I brought my flap flush with the wheels. Loving it.

Move your finger and read. The flares on the blue truck (the ones in question) (also the start of the current post your on) are not long johns.

I have a new tundra I do not care for looks of flares. but I wanted them for protection. if you own cars for 10 years like I do then you will understand why its a must to protect. Toyota was late to have them on from factory everyone else has them.
    huge protections from rocks.

PPF first then add them. if you don't put film then you don't care about your truck. Most of the guys on here have leased trucks so they don't care.

My buds Gmc has no flares and when the chips start dam the rust is crazy.

Toyota in general has good paint but with truck tires a lot of debris flings around in there.

I say flares all the ways. I want to put it on my voodoo blue tundra but I can’t seem to find the 86T blue flares. Anyone have a link?

I like the truck period but it does look nice without the flares. I was actually thinking about putting them on but didn't want to add them and have an issue with them retaining water and then develop rust. My 14 doesn't have them and I do like the clean look as well.

Dont do it. THe first owner of my FJ did them and they WILL rub and cut into your paint. Plus they make the wheel well look too big for the tires that can fit a Tundra without major $$$ and 37s.

I took one of my flares off to see what it would look like. I prefer flares. I’m not offended if anyone thinks otherwise.

My Platinum came with the flares and they're hanging in my garage. I prefer the look without and when I took them off there was a bunch of dirt underneath. If someone lives where they use salt that can't be good.

Yup, I agree that they probably should be taken off where salt is used on the roads. When I took mine off there was a bunch of dirt as well.
