So, Im saving up for the dirty deeds race exhaust...I know I can ship him my cats for him to mount to it (I'll be only keeping 2) but Im thinking of just buying 2 brand new cats to go in the system...with that being said what is the best way to get the most for all 4 cats or the system as a whole. A lot of junkyards/scrap yards near me arent giving good cash for cats (mainly because idiots keep stealing them so I think that they are hesitant too give top dollar for them). This wont be for a couple months while I save up the cash. Should I just cold call shops around me to see if they are looking for a full stock exhaust or cats?? If so what would a good price me for them?? I know I wont get as much as the go for new, but everything is working? Is trying to get half of what they go for new too far fetched?

Some members here who have been victims of cat theft will gladly help you find them a new home I’d wager.

once you reach 50 posts, list them for sale in the marketplace here. Some are waiting many months for Cats so if you have good stockers, removed correctly, intact, you should have no problem selling them.

    Alot of them
The only place I would sell them is here on the forum to someone who is waiting for them. The theft has put a few of the guys here in a bind as it was their primary vehicle. My vote is to help a fellow forum member.

I'm just curious where you are able to find 2 new cats? No one has them and even Toyota can't get them. If you are thinking of going aftermarket, most folks will tell you the Tundra is picky and will throw codes if you use aftermarket.

But as others have stated, if you are going to sell yours and they are still in good shape and can just be bolted in, find someone local who is in need and find a good compromise.

I want to get the dirty deeds race exhaust too along with American Racing long tubes but the cost nowadays is crazy. Roughly $5300 delivered. My plan was to get cheap cats from Amazon and have him weld them in or flanged.

Havent really looked yet. The DD race exhaust is pricey, but keith states that he has consisent gains in hp and tq with them so im saving up now. Once I gey closer Im gonna price new cats...He needs 2 to put into the system and I fiqure 1) I dont want to drive around with half of an exhaust while waiting for shipping etc (I dont have a back up car to down the truck) and 2) might as well put new cats since the exhaust will be new....

Yeah its pricey...the supercharger goes for about 8 so not much more for a lot more power....but even with that in mind Im still leaning on saving for the exhaust and doing the SC later. I halfway thought off doing the SC and throwing on a cheaper exhaust just for the sound but after talking to keith on the phone I dont think any other exhaust place will deliver his level of customer service, so I'll probably do the exhaust relatively soon (few months to save up) and do the SC later
