Has anyone bought or came up with a way to deal with the heat coming from the sunroof?

I mean the obvious options are to get it tinted and to have the best possible chance to keep heat out get ceramic window tint or keep the “shade” closed or both.

Ceramic tint. I had my sunroof tinted (10% ceramic) and the difference is unbelievable. I’d highly recommend for a relatively cheap and quick option.

Getting mine ceramic tinted soon, along with all the windows. Everything I've read/seen shows that it is worth it if you live in a place with lots of sunlight and heat

They don't come with a retractable interior shade panel?

They do, but the heat radiates through it pretty good.

I believe what the OP is wanting is to be able to leave the shade open and cut down on the heat. I completely understand this as I enjoy the sunroof, but the heat coming through it can get a little unbearable.

Tinted my roof (and every other window) and it’s made a massive difference. I think I did 20 on the roof and am very happy w it.

Had to close the roof a few times driving around as the sun was so intense, haven’t had to do it once the tint went on.
