2001 Tundra lighting Suggestions

Hey guys,

I have a 2001 tundra that needs new lights. I can get all oem lights for about $130 from Rockauto minus the fog lights. Half of me wants to just go that route and not worry about getting some bad aftermarket lights, but the other half of me wants some better looking brighter lights as long as they are not ridiculous on the price and work good. I think I might replace my fog lights with LED pods. Anyway looking for suggestions on what some of you may have done that you liked. Add pics!!

Nah, I'm good, don't need the extra work. This is a topic that comes up at least once or twice a month going on several years and has been discussed with very few meaningful updates to technology. Mostly because people can't be bothered to take a minute to search, instead of expecting direct attention.

Why not take some initiative here, instead?

I got the cheap rock auto lights. Arrived busted though. Cheap plastic. Came with bulbs and they're bright enough though! Not going to complain despite the broken part. It was one of the mounts the screw goes through. There was enough left where it doesn't really go anywhere so I don't care.

 

Has anyone put these TO2800153 tail lights on a first gen? I can get them from Rock auto, but just wondering if they for sure fit my 2001 limited?

 

If what is shown on ebait is correct, they only fit 04-06

Yeah those tails are double cab only. Need the access cab ones. You can pick if you want the 00-04 style or want to switch to 05-06 style. Both styles will fit.
