I have an 04 Stepside Tundra, and my door handles are wonky. I have to lift really high up on the driver side to get it to open. I saw a Double Cab with different handles and thought of a swap. Will these fit on my current truck? Can I swap the entire door (Double Cab door on Access cab)? I know the beds aren't compatible, they are a few inches shorter, but is the cab the same? Thanks all, Skyler

No, there is not a single part of the body that you can swap from double cab to access cab except the high mount stop light

Oh wow, I guess that the Double Cab is almost a completely different truck? Maybe I can swap hardware from another Access Cab and hope it fixes my issue.

Yes. It's like a totally different beast, in so many ways.

The AC and RC are very similar. The DC is like ... maybe most closely related to the Sequoia.

To that point, go look up pics of Sequoia doors, the inner door card. If it looks same as DC Tundra, maybe that can open the DOOR to more options.

I did, here is what I found. Note: these are from salvage auctions, they have a 360 feature that is more convenient than driving 30 minutes to take a picture.

The Sequoia and Double cab looks similar, the access cab looks completely different.

    AC and RC are same.
DC is different from AC and RC.
It would appear DC and Sequoia are the same.

If true, this wouldn't surprise me. The DC trucks are basically a Sequoia with a bed, they share a lot of stuff, pretty sure the frame is basically identical too.

I’m not sure the frame is exactly identical, their wheel base is a lot shorter
