Just got my raptor lights today and plan on installing tomorrow I was thinking it would be nice to have them on the same switch as the running lights toggle for the NSV.

Anyone see an electrical problem with this?

Has anyone already done this and has an idea of how best to tap into it?
I tried search and the video I saw online suggests tapping into the INJ (27) 10am fuse location, I’m assuming since that is on the ignition the lights are always on.

It would be nice to not have to run a separate switch.

    Looking for suggestions..

I finally got around to doing this so I thought I would share. First off I can not warranty or guarantee this won't fry something, I'm taking the assumptions that I'm working with LEDs that don't draw much and I've tapped into an existing hot lead that is fused, that said I'm very much a backyard mechanic / electrician.

As I said I wanted the ability to use the same switch on my NSV bar for the DRL's, no real reason other than the ability to switch them off and not have another switch. After checking on the forum of course someone had done up a wiring diagram thank you @wire89 https://www.tundras.com/threads/nsv-light-bar-to-switch-pros.53908/#post-1614317 and others.

I did a test first with just one light, tapped the ground to the chassis, cut the yellow wire from the harness on the NVS that goes into the firewall and spliced the raptor positive lead to the switch side. Light worked all the other NSV functions worked. Then I spliced the NSV, Switch and Raptor light, all NSV functions worked and the Raptor lights went on and off with the DRL NSV lights. Installed the lights, ran the wires and made more permanent splice.

Too bad that the NSV is low output.

I got them more for aesthetics than getting more light. The NSV fits so well and has enough output for me.

It does fit well. I had an interesting time installing my light bar. Alot of adjusting.
