RC on back wall has some studs for the Jack and tool. That’s about it. Pretty thin. I suspect the easier path RC wise is to attack from the inside and cut the bottom lip inside edge to accommodate. But this is clearly beyond my level.

And that other guy had a RC too so I’m sure he thought through all the options.

I see first gen double cabs at least once a week here. I have NEVER seen a single one driving with the back window down. I'd love to have the feature but it doesn't seem like people actually utilize it much.

When I had my 4Runner I rolled down the rear window a lot until something in the track started damaging my window tint.

I use it mostly in the spring/fall. Roll it down a few inches and pop the sunroof open and it provides a nice breeze.

The dogs love it when they go for rides too and I don't have to worry about them getting stuff in their eyes from looking out the side windows.

I’m ALWAYS rolling with the back window down, unless it’s over 95 degrees outside or raining.

I loved morrilton, ar. I was there during july around '12 or so and the weather was amazing. Almost bought property there, and within a couple months i'd had died on a cheap roadbike slinding off the cliff on mt. Petit jeans (or maybe magazine) switchbacks. I seent it with the sight.

Huh. Mo-town. Not exactly a destination, but close to Petit Jean for sure. Some good bike trails over off of Mt. Nebo, same company that does the Walmart sponsored trails in NW Arkansas. Prettier places to live here than Morrilton, but lots of quiet out of the way properties available cheap there. Lots of outdoor stuff to do within an hour or two any direction.

i thought i was buying quiet & out of the way here. Thought the expansion would be between san antonio and austin, but apparently all the growth is happening in my direction around boerne. Big eff, but i have too much junk to move now.

Wait. I looked at this again a sec ago. Is this just an optical illusion? Trying to figure out why this rack looks all kinda crazy.

the outer tie rods have a arc in them, you can barely see the rusty castle nut in the pictureA2EAB07F-8A2A-432A-B1E7-C7302FB7ABD7.jpg

It's covered in grease, and laid out at a funky angle. Anyone know where to get a new dust cap for the CV axle on the hub? The rack is FUBAR'd, but it'll get us through to the next adventure.

Got it. I think it was the rust, grease or combo thereof that was throwing me off. Couldn't get perspective, I honestly can't even see where the outer tie rod starts and the inner ends. it just looked like a big chunk of steel rod that's rusted and chunked out.

Thats awesome, Ive been looking at landwatch a lot lately. Getting pretty tired of southern california for many reasons. But mainly, i want more nature and such around me. Tired of living in a heavily populated area that takes about 3 hours in any direction to get away from it when i go camping.
