I don't think so but I'm not sure. I didn't remember seeing any posts about him planning to be gone for any amount of time either. No line through his name at the moment either.
I sent him a text a couple days ago and haven't heard anything. I know life gets busy though.

    Two unrelated thoughts.

We had a Chuckit ball tosser for Kenny - the dog. He chewed it and I finally got around to replacing it. Those things are awesome, just received the new one and wore him out.

Memes - can be funny as hell, but sometimes when I search them...damn some people are mean. I see ones I could never post.

I saw this tall dude on the trail with the short one. He could chuck that ball. I just got the long one in medium ball size (tennis ball). Damn I can chuck that ball.

So I’m guessing they make chucks for different balls?

Apparently. I just wanted the tennis ball size, so I did some research and different ball sizes and different lengths. So I have two 26" (long) Medium (tennis ball size)

If it's not already clear, Tundras.com has recently seen its second wave, one quite a bit larger than last, of willful departures.

This larger one was catalyzed by the series of moderation choices which sent @Darkness and @chrisb on their 1 week hiatus.

Those willful departures are a huge driver behind the slowdown in posting here in the 1st gen forum. We lost a lot of good people over that.

I get it, but I still miss everyone. I'm getting too damn old/stubborn to sign up for other forums. Took me 2-3yrs lurking to sign up here.

This is funny, me getting a grammar (well vocabulary) lesson in 2005. I still don't think he was kidding...

This is like the only forum where 1st gens are still talked about regularly. The other two, TS and TT have become a desert for the most part.

The final one. I got an invitation to Tundra solutions that, looking back, might have been him. But it was gone right away. I have a hard time keeping up with one forum, so I don’t plan to join another. But I do miss some of those guys a lot. PHM shared everything I need to know to keep the truck running, before I need to know it, And Luis knew all the extra stuff I wanted to learn, and was generous answering questions. Plus, he was fun, contributed turtle knowledge, and posted excellent official Friday polls! I definitely miss what they took with them.

I think that will change… What with first gens becoming increasingly popular recently, as camping rigs + if those guys move to one of those forums, it’ll get good material. I guess, unless gas goes back up again and dampens the popularity of V8’s, Or if those forums allow politics, which is what killed them previously.

They do allow it on TS. It's basically the same people from here talking about the same things and a few of them making the same repeated complaints about politics. They even have a lunch table thread. The only difference is that the forum software is 10 years outdated and the adds are insufferable.
