Anybody knows the difference between the two filters? I suspect that one of them is a carbon filter.

Look at the filter in your truck. If its OEM filter it will have the part#. One in flexible the other is incased in a plastic. P100 is flex S010 is plastic cased.

No. They are both air filters but one is listed D carbon spec. I still haven't removed my Charcoal filter yet.

Honestly I have no idea. I'm just guessing that one filter has more filtration than the other. Kind of like home AC filters. One is $10 and one is $30.

Yup, the S filter for 2nd gen (looks like white cotton, almost twice as big, rounded corners, for 4 clip box) and P for 2.5nth gen (looks like yeller Paper, squared corners, two clip box).

Anyone know a filter that will fit the trd pro box that is not the oil type??? Be great if it could simply be cleaned and reinstalled too.

Isn't the 'pro box' for the 2.5 gen just a different lid that reuses the same lower box and uses the same panel-type filter size? The trd filter fits the oem setup. The early 2nd gen trd kit with that funky enclosed conical vertical filter was way different though.
