Pineapple on pizza

Used to deliver for domino's and pineapple was in the top third of toppings, but this is socal so it is likely different in other places.

For me I'll eat it but I'm more of a meats and heart attack pizza type of guy.

By the way I used to have a regular customer that liked cherries on his pizza. We stocked it only for him. We even pitted it for him. 10 dollar tip everytime and this was over 10 years ago.

 

Dominos? Yes please, Honolulu Hawaiian and chikn kali bacon ranch. Two large, $27.80.

And we still have one pizza not liker, holding strong at 1.3% of the polls as of right now.

Well. I think the wife may get upset if I asked anyone else to lube the cable.

 

Pineapple is fine on pizza. Needs some savory/salty to offset the sweet though. Onion, jalapeños, bacon, smoked gouda often help. Maybe some grilled chicken. And for the love, grill the pineapples. I’ll only eat something like this if I make it myself.

There are a lot of things that are put on pizza that don't belong. Chicken, pineapple, and any kind of beef are just a few. I don't even like pepperoni on pizza. I think pepperoni is only good for snacking on. The only meat I put on pizza is Italian sausage.

 

First, let me state that I love pineapple...

BUT....

 

See! Expert testimony decrying the abuse of pizza by pineapple. Pen with pineapple is fine. Apple with pineapple is fine. NOWHERE did he ever remotely put the pineapple near pizza.

I thought I could relate to the people on this forum. It’s bad enough I live in CA with all the liberal looneys who look at my 13 mpg Tundra with self-righteous disdain from their battery operated toy cars whose electricity is made from coal fire plants in some other location so that they can’t see it. This forum was supposed to be my escape. Ha, ha!

Now, to get real here, who likes anchovies on their pizza? I’m a hell yes for that!

 

I visit a lot of people and, in an effort to be less picky, I have been trying to develop a taste for things I don't like. After muscling through pineapple on a couple pizzas I can say that it's growing on me. I still prefer others, but I would no longer refuse it.

 

You sir, have never had something like Pretty Fly For A White Pie from our local Pizza & Pub or any Nashville hot chicken pizza. Both are legit.

 

I will say it again chicken does NOT belong on pizza.

 

Actually, chicken and pineapple is better than ham and pineapple on pizza.

 

I never met a pizza I didn't like.

We used to frequent a local restaurant that specialized in Italian food. We knew many of the employees since we visited there several times each week.
We were a bunch of hungry motorcyclists ordering dinner and one of the staff came up to us and said;

"Hey, we have this "Works" pizza which was ordered to go but the folks never did come to pick it up ~ would you guys eat it if we just gave it to you ? It has anchovies on it ~ the whole works."

"Bring it on," we said. "If it's free it's for me."

I've never ordered a pizza with anchovies, but I'll have to say this one fabulous pie. We gobbled it up and left a nice tip for the staff.

My regular would be topped with pepperoni or sausage . . . or both.

Have you tried it? Chicken cali bacon ranch is fabulous, gang! I order it all the time from dominos.

 

Nope, and not going to. I am very picky about meat on pizza. Italian sausage is the only meat that goes on my pizzas.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to get a pizza with pineapple delivered to the campground this week. I'll see if they have one with chicken, too.

 

Well, not going to be able to get pizza this trip but I figured a Hawaiian pizza bagel from the Rocky Mountain Bagel Company was a good compromise.

 

Get those gosh damn pickles away from anything that resembles bread! I hate it when places just stack stuff on pickles. It's like they are intentionally sabotaging the meal. I'll say "no pickles" but they always seem to hear "Do whatever the f**k you want" so I've actually gotten to the point that I tell places "No pickles at all. I am allergic and don't want to die."

 

Finally got my pizza with pineapple and chicken.
