TSS and parking sensors- waiting on my bumper to finish up and have a long drive coming up at night and need more lighting. Does anyone know if I will have issues with the TSS or parking sensors mounting these lights here?

Tie some string to it and hang it off the grill, start the truck and see if you have any errors

It’s so damn heavy it would break the grill- they weight like 4lbs each

Black out emblems, tailgate insert, airbag rear suspension, Toyota branded bakflip bed cover.
You could try tracing that shape on a cardboard and cut that out and hang it in front to get the same effect. Or you can tape the cardboard to the bumper where you would mount the light. All those should yield you the results you’re looking for.

    Came here to suggest this.

I doubt the light pod would mess with the parking sensors, but the front TSS radar is very sensitive. It also has a very wide field of view, even at very close ranges.

Let us know how it goes!

got the brackets fabbed up today and bungee corded it in place- all was good slow around the hood. Bolting them up this weekend and will report back.

the prior gen TSS sensor you could mount lights close to it without issues so hoping this is the case. It’s more of a long distance wide sensor, not super close from my understanding

Makes sense the older gens were more forgiving. The 3rd Gen has the "new" TSS 2.0 and I heard it's more sensitive.

I'm going to do the CBI bumper, but thought about different mounting points for stuff. This would be a good indicator.

    Worked like a charm

Waiting for my c4 bumper to be finished up, so in the interim got creative with lighting.

2 $12 brackets from Home Depot (rated for 300lbs), a few self tapping screws and a set of Baja designs LP6’s fit perfectly in the front. NO issues with front parking sensors and initial neighborhood cruise with TSS produced zero issues.
