Hey all, I’m Skyler. I’m torn on a decision for a truck. I moved recently and need a truck (My Cobalt SS won’t haul the trash). I found a Tundra 4x4 stepside with 265k miles and I’m wondering if it’d be a good truck. This one has heated seats, lots of wood trim, and it looks good. My cousin had this truck before me, she took good care of it. Will it be good to use as a trash hauler and general truck things? Thanks

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! If you know the history of the truck, and that it's been well maintained, then it is just getting broken in good. Go for it!

Pics and some year model details and general pricing would help. These are good trucks when they are taken care of.

Sounds like a good deal! From my understanding, the 4.7 is a great engine and should still have life in it at 250k or more. Welcome to the forum!

New frame! If so, then that is huge here with the salty roads of the northeast. I would run fast & pay the lady.

4” pipes sound cool but are way oversized for the 4.7. If it had frame replacement I would look over the remaining components like brakes and suspension and ensure they are in good working order. Good luck with this!

Bought it today. Drives perfect. 4x4 will be tested on Saturday when I head up to VT to see family. We have a big land with tons of trails.
