So i see my 6112's are reaching the end of their life and need replacement. I currently have them on the middle setting and was reasonably happy with how they performed.
I've been pondering what i'm going to put in their place but wanted some opinions.
do i just swap with new 6112's? move to a different coil-over like fox's icons?
She's a pavement truck 90% of the time but does get some decent light off-roading and i'm only in need of 2-2.5" of lift. Thanks in advance!

I was in the same situation about a month ago and I ended up just staying with 6112 on the top setting. I looked at Ironman, dobinson, and ome.....but Ironmans are having major spring issues on our trucks, and 6112 were just a better price than the other 2. I got mine from Apex Offroad think they were around $875 shipping included.

I have almost 40k on my 6112s. How many miles did you get out of them?

I’ll probably move to the 8112 next but I do a significant amount of off road trails. If I were you, I’d stick to 6112 or 5100 and save some $.

Yea they have treated me pretty well all things considered. I might just have to set up another order of the same thing.

I had looked into 8112's which are easy to fall in love with but they're damn near double for one! A shock that was priced in the gap between 6112's and 8112's would be the easy answer for me if such a thing was available. I got about 50k miles so about an average lifespan.

Id get more 6112 if they felt good for you. It’s probably more shock than you need for light trails. You really need to beat on your truck to justify real coilovers

Eibach Pro Truck setup is nice for the $. About a grand for assembled, adjustable (threaded not clips so can change on the truck) coil overs and matching rear shocks.
