Hello friends. I knew it would happen one of these days and it was today. I smacked a 3-point blacktail going 40 mph on my way to work this morning.

    20220713_073949.jpg 20220713_073750.jpg 20220713_073745.jpg

Frame, radiator and coolant lines are good. No leaks, no other problems....that I've noticed.

I have decided to go for the Coastal Offroad bumper (a little late, wouldn't ya say?). Will also be replacing the headlights and am taking recommendation for those and the corners.

I also need to know where I can find that narrow piece below the headlight. It's mangled and I can probably get it close, but it would be much less of a headache to just replace it.

I'll handle the cracked grille and the slightly crooked fender another time.

Maybe you'll think of something I haven't yet. I appreciate any help.

I’d get an OEM grill. I got mine color matched from the dealer with emblems for $193

The pieces under the head lights any dismantler will ship anywhere. I forgot the website that searches all Dismantler inventories.

Thanks. I'll see if I can find a part number and look into dismantlers.

Oregon Coast, huh? You’re probably like an hour away from me haha. Cool.
That’s not so bad, man. Bumpers were made to get hit ;)
Oh, and those pieces under the headlight are kind of hard to find online. Good luck.

I'm in the Coos Bay area.
It's really not THAT bad....but it did makes some supports and brackets pretty curly.
I have to find the part numbers for the horizontal support behind the bumper and the vertical support under the hood latch.

That sucks but it could be a silver lining. Great time to do a bumper change like you said.

Silver linings for sure. Will get to learn more about and work on my truck...AND update some things while I'm at it.

I believe the offending deer let out a little poo on the left side of the bumper cover.... I guess I would have too.

Definitely knocked the poo out of him. Cannot confirm nor deny that it did the same to me...
