Long time Toyota enthusiast here chiming in after purchase 7/6/22. Coming from a 13' GS 350 f sport. This post is to give some new owners a little confidence in their purchase. This has to be the most hated on generation of Toyota truck in my life time.

I had no say in the options of this vehicle, my wait time was about 3 weeks (from time of $500 deposit) which is incredibly lucky.

I love this truck so far, it has made my commute effortless. I work in the tilt up construction industry. On average I do about 600-1000 miles a week. The adaptive radar cruise in NE bumper to bumper traffic is a life saver. Still learning to trust it...Paying attention is obviously a must.

Buttery smooth on the road...and off road on my construction sites. In comparison my Superintendents 2.5 gen tundra has a much harsher ride and he doesn't ever even see 15 mpg. I also personally hate the old interior...to each their own on that one.

I just rolled over 500 miles, obviously too early for any comments on reliability.

But with 19 mpg during the "break in phase" so far about 80% highway 20% city and quite a bit of idling. (75-85 mph)

Color has definitely grown on me! Some bronze wheels are for sure in my future.

Looking forward to years of reliable service from this truck. Not worried about issues, they stand behind their product. IMG_1166.jpg IMG_1201.jpg

also Ill add, that after 10k miles Ive had no issues either. Just the recall i had to take it in for, which was fixed quick. But on the road its been nothing but good. and I commute a lot for work.
