Power rear window 05 stepside

    Does anyone have procedure/detailed to replace no power rear window in 05 access cab with a power (roll up/down) full rear window? What components are required to complete the exchange?Thanks jfred

    Yes, sell the access cab and buy a double cab instead, since those came with them from the factory.

    @des2mtn might sound like he's joking, but he's not.

    Access Cabs didn't come with full up/down window. The cab size and window sizes are totally different. Access Cab and Regular share a lot of commonalities. Double Cab is a totally different beast.

    Same is true for the moonroof, and the larger overhead console with temperature and compass.

    Yep. This isn't something that can't be done cheap or easily. For the amount of time and money you'd spend trying to do something custom that not even work, you'd be better off buying a whole 'nother truck all together which you know will work.
