LOL. What next. The windshield sprayer does not distribute spray evenly enough?
I definitely want everything to work and will make sure they address these at my next regular service, but these seem pretty minor.

 

Great, now I have to stare at world is ending red notifications on my app until I hit 10K miles and bring it back in for service. My OCD is going to get a workout. I just did the 5K maintenance this past Saturday before this made its way out.

 

Agree, but some guys on here have reported issues with their truck this seems to address. Unfortunately, the peanut gallery will use this to further their argument this truck is junk. "Lol aNotHEr ReaSoN I aM glAd I diDnT bUy a 3rD gEn"

 

Toyota finally fixing the stalling issue with the ecu programming.

Just made appointment with my dealer on 28th.

This is second safety recall for the PVM. Apparently still same issue.

 

So this put a lot of pre-sale trucks in to QC hold over the last few days. Really hoping that update is ready and the stop sale lifts. Toyota I will sign a waiver or whatever you want. My truck is down the road, let me have it!

 

Checked my app, and no recalls listed for mine.

 

No, it's a different issue and they have to list it as a safety recall because of federal regulations for working backup cams.

The previous issue was the potential the screen could black out, not displaying an image at all. This issue is the screen could potentially show the forward camera view and not the rear camera view.

 

I have none of these on my app. Probably not many vehicles affected.

Only a sucker buys first year release. These Tundras got more problems than a Dr. Phil panel. I’m not buying this truck.

Last gen had PLENTY of recalls and issues of it's own.

 

8 recalls for previous gen and that truck didn't even have remotely close to as much tech, etc as this Gen.

Ahh. I skipped that part on the letter. Didn't bother reading the whole thing. Just checked the letter to see how many were affected and made a call when I saw mine was recalled.

 

Check the letters posted above. Your truck is probably affected.

 

Pulled my vin on TiS and it shows the labor rate. 1.5hr to do both recall.

 

Mine was made 5/22.

I do not have the front camera and the other recall was up to 4/22.

I believe mine is not affected.

Yup, took mine in Thursday for the axle bolts/nuts & they mentioned a pano roof recall. I asked, if it was for a drain pan issue & service advisor stated, for the PVM…..sigh…so I told him that’s the camera system.

But recall wasn’t “published” yet so nothing done. So I’m checking my app on Saturday to see if the recall had cleared. Nothing. I clicked on the recall, & of course it’s the PVM recall now…….for my truck that was in 2 days ago! Frustrating

 

Funny…I guess it’s not a ‘safety’ item per se but a ‘service’ item


I guess this can wait a bit then.
