'22 TRD off road. Like the title says, all four of the windows squeak ALL THE TIME. The majority of my driving is done on bumpy dirt/gravel roads and the annoyance is unbelievable. Yes, the radio's volume knob is great at fixing this problem, but I generally leave the radio off. The only other way to fix it is to roll the windows down half an inch or so to get it out of the fully closed position.

I don't want to just lather the rubbers down in WD40 because it would collect dust something fierce. Is there another solution? Is toyota just going to tell me to kick rocks?

Edit - another pretty annoying thing to have happened - the paint on all the plastic trim pieces on the steering wheel has already worn down. My 2013 is the same way, but it took 150-200k miles to wear the paint off these parts. This was already happening by 12k. Pretty nuts

Take it back to the dealer and have them worry about it. If it happens that easily they'll be able to reproduce and fix

Gonna be quite a while before I have time to either sit in a shop all day long or leave my truck at the dealer for days at a time. I will certainly do that when I have the time but was hoping someone else had an easy fix for it here

Shouldn't take days for a dealer to address that. 2 days tops but yeah I see where you'd wanna knock it out yourself
